Passer-by Killed by Scaffolding

Zagreb, January 28 (CP) — An elderly man from Metkovic was killed on Monday morning, as he was hit by a plank that fell off scaffolding at a building site. It is believed that the plank was pushed off the scaffolding by strong winds with some of the gusts measuring up to 100 km per hour. An investigation into the accident is under way and the responsibility of the construction company MGA from Metkovic is being looked into.
