Zagreb, February 1 (CP) – President Stjepan Mesic and his Slovene counterpart Danilo Tuerk have met at the Otocac castle on Friday, this being their first unofficial meeting since Tuerk took office in December 2007.
The two have agreed that other Croatian and Slovene senior politicians should follow in their footsteps in an attempt to resolve problems.
Following the hour-long meeting, Tuerk said that this was a chance to showcase the good relations of the two countries and stressed that no tragic scenarios were to follow.
