Varteks from Varazdin Severs Deal with Univerzijada Beograd

agreb, February 7 (CP) — Despite claiming it will not agree to the severance of the €5 million deal with Univerzijada Beograd, the Varazdin-based Varteks company had done so, thus no longer being the exclusive supplier of official clothing and footwear for the upcoming event.
The deal has been broken off despite the fact that it had been honoured in part, as severance was demanded by Univerzijada due to protests from domestic textiles producers.
Belgrade is to host the University Games next year.
