Invincible Croatian High Jumper Wins on Her Home Turf of Split

Zagreb, February 13 (CP) – Croatian high jumper Blanka Vlasic has captured her 20th win in a row at the international high jump meet in Split clearing 202 centimetres.
This was Vlasic’s fifth win of the season.
Vlasic took part in the meet in her hometown, despite suffering from hip pains and cleared 202, but failed in clearing 205 centimetres.
Also taking part were the best high jump athletes of the world including Vita Palamar from the Ukraine, Svetlana Skolina from Russia, Romana Dubnova from the Czech Republic and several others.
