Illegally Parked Zagreb Motorist Attempts to Mow Down Policeman
February 17th, 2008
Zagreb, February 17 (CP) – After a policeman noticed a BMW driver illegally parking his car at a parking lot in Zagreb, the motorist tried to mow him down.
A Zagreb policeman was nearly killed in line of duty as he tried to warn a motorist of parking his car illegally at a parking lot.
The motorist ignored the warnings of the law enforcement officer, locked himself into the vehicle, revved the engine and hit the gas pedal while the officer was standing in front of the car.
Although the policeman managed to avoid the car hitting him, he was injured by the car’s rear view mirror, as the motorist sped off.
The driver was later captured and detained, while the policeman was treated for minor injuries.
