Ukrainian Sergiy Strakhovsky Wins PBZ Zagreb Indoors Beating Croatian Ljubicic

Zagreb, March 1 (CP) – Ukrainian tennis player Sergiy Strakhovsky has won his first ATP tournament PBZ Zagreb Indoors after beating Croatian top seed and favourite Ivan Ljubicic, 7-5, 6-4.

The two players stood their ground in both sets, but Ljubicic seemed to have made one unforced error too many.

Ljubicic made similar mistakes in both sets with the break by the Ukrainian in the second set proving to be most dangerous, as following it, Strakhovksy ended the match to capture his first ATP title.
