World Economic Forum List Places Croatia’s Tourism in 34th Place According to Competitiveness

Zagreb, March 4 (CP) — Croatia is in 34th place out of 130 according to the competitiveness of its tourism and has climbed up four places from last year, claims the latest report by the World Economic Forum. Switzerland tops the list, while trailing are Austria and Germany.
Croatia’s best features are said to be its human resources quality, cultural and natural assets.
Tourism makes up about 22 percent of the country’s GDP and about 40 percent of total exports.
