Croatian Parliament Adopts 119.4 Billion Kuna 2008 State Budget

Zagreb, March 6 (CP) – The parliament adopted the 2008 state budget on Wednesday evening totalling 119.4 billion kuna.
The budget debate took all day with most of the amendments rejected.
The government is claiming the budget is geared towards competitiveness of the Croatian economy with central state revenue of 115.6 billion kuna expected and expenses standing at 119.4 billion kuna.
