Croatia Experiencing Serious Temperature Drop following Spring-like Weather

Zagreb, March 18 (CP) — Croatia is currently experiencing severe weather changes, as after 20 degrees temperatures inland, Tuesday has seen snowfall and temperatures dipping to just a few degrees above freezing point.

A lot of snow has fallen in Delnice, while a little less in Gospic, Zagreb, Karlovac, Ogulin, on Mt. Sljeme and at Zavizan.

Winter conditions have been declared on roads in Gorski Kotar and Lika. In low-lying areas the snow had melted until the afternoon hours.

The weather forecast for the coming days claims of the inclement weather remaining in place for at least another week with temperatures not rising above nine degrees in the Croatian capital Zagreb.
