Some 64 tonnes of Quality Coal Meant for Bosnia-Hezegovina Is Shipped into the Ploce Port

Zagreb, March 24 (CP) – Some 64,000 tonnes of low-sulphur coal has been shipped into the Ploce port for B-H Steel metalworks from Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The shipment matches a quarters of the monthly traffic at the Ploce port.

During 2007, the Ploce port moved some 4.2 tonnes of goods, reaching record goods transport from the 80’s of the last century.

The B-H Steel is expected to increase the Ploce port goods traffic by 1.8 million tonnes.

Some 150,000 tonnes of goods have passed through Ploce since the start of 2008 and a total of five million tonnes is expected by the end of the year.
