Zagreb, April 11 (CP) – The Split police have arrested a 75-year-old widow on charges of sexual harassment of her 86-year-old neighbour.
The harassed man has said that he had been persecuted by the woman for the past 20 years, but the attacks increased over the past four years since his wife died.
Suffering from mental illness, something that has been established by a court expert, the woman had been threatening to kill the recently widowed neighbour and had even been banging at his door with a large bone, damaging the front door to his flat.
The arrest came following a mental health assessment of the woman, which said she posed danger to those around her and suffered among other psychological problems from erotomania and may repeat the offence and refuses psychiatric treatment.
