Injured Italian Climber Saved by Croatian Mountain Rescue Team

Zagreb, April 26 (CP) – The members of the Croatian Mountain Rescue Team (HGSS) managed to rescue an injured Italian climber at the Paklenica national park.
The Zadar alert centre was informed on Friday evening of an Italian climber breaking his leg while climbing at the Anica Kuk section of the Paklenica national park and passed on the information to the rescue team.
The rescue effort was successfully completed in the early hours of Saturday.
The Italian climber is now being cared for at the Zadar hospital.
