German National Seriously Injured while Paragliding on Croatia’s Krk Island

Zagreb, May 20 (CP) – A German national suffered serious injuries during takeoff while attempting to fly a paraglider on the Kamena hill on the northern island of Krk on Monday.
The 44-year-old man who was not named was together with a group of paragliding enthusiasts when he attempted to take off and crashed into the rocks and sustained serious injuries.
He was taken to the Susak hospital in Rijeka and although his injuries are serious his life is not in danger.
