Ante Gotovina Decides Not To Attend Father’s Funeral

Zagreb, May 22 (CP) — The ICTY indictee Ante Gotovina has decided not to seek temporary release from detention in order to attend his father’s funeral.
Gotovina decided that he did not want to disrupt his father’s funeral by appearing at the service, as there would be many people who would show up just to get a glimpse of him.
Gotovina’s father Milan, died in Pakostane on Thursday and will be laid to rest on Friday.
