Croatian Helsinki Human Rights Committee Expresses Dissatisfaction with Thompson Open-air Concert To Take Place in Zagreb on Friday

Zagreb, May 29 (CP) – The Croatian Helsinki Committee (HHO) has expressed dissatisfaction with the organising of a concert by fascist-insignia promoter Marko ‘Thompson’ Perkovic in Zagreb’s main square on Friday.

They have expressed concern over the fact that Thompson was reluctant to do away with the promotion of fascist insignia and chants.

The concert is being organised by veterans’ organisations and the city of Zagreb marking Veterans’ Day.
Several concerty by this controversial Croatian singer/songwriter had been banned abroad for similar fears.
