Legendary Croatian Feral Tribune Weekly Ends its 15-year Run
Zagreb, June 19 (CP) – After more than 15 years, the legendary Croatian weekly Feral Tribune has published its last issue.
In a lengthy article in the last issue, the editors explained that the influential weekly would have to shut down due to financial problems despite its circulation being good and all the costs being cut to a minimum.
It was also stressed that Feral is shutting down not because it has not been successful, but had not attracted enough adverts and the circulation itself was not enough to keep it afloat.
The editors have also spoken of the weekly being awarded as many international award as were received by all other Croatian papers together.
The editors promised to do all in their power to re-start the paper in the near future.
