Croatian Football Association Fined €60,000 for Croatian Supporters’ Inappropriate Conduct

Zagreb, June 27 (CP) – The UEFA disciplinary commission has fined the Croatian Football Association (HNS) €60,000 for Croatia football supporters’ inappropriate conduct during the Croatia-Turkey game of the EURO2008.
The explanation gives is that some two dozen fires were burning during the game in the section of the stadium occupied by Croatian supporters.
The HNS has announced it would appeal the fine.
