Zagreb: Construction Worker Dead after Metal Tube Falls on His Head

Zagreb, June 27 (CP) – A construction workers was killed when some metal tubing fell onto his head as it was being unloaded from a truck.
The incident happened in Zagreb’s Maksimir area and it resulted in traffic being halted for several hours in the street where it occurred.

Zagreb, June 20 (CP) – A crane dropped as many as 20 meters and fell to the ground at a building site in the centre of the Croatian capital Zagreb, but luckily no one was injured.
The Pionir company responsible for the construction works at the site is investigating the causes of the incident.

Priest Dies During Funeral Service at a Zagreb Cemetery

Zagreb, May 1 (CP) – A 57-year-old priest has died as he was delivering mass at a funeral in Croatia’s capital Zagreb.
